Ryan Alexander Most Difficult Person The most difficult person that I can ever remember working with was a server when I worked at TGI Friday’s. I was shift lead most of the time when I worked. Shift lead is the server whose job is to delegate certain jobs to all of the other servers that are working that shift and make sure that they do those jobs quickly and efficiently. Before any of the other servers can leave, they must have the shift lead check out their section to make sure that everything was done that was asked of them by the shift lead. The most difficult person that I have ever worked with was not really adamant about doing the things that were asked of them by the shift lead. If you would ask them to fill the ice, for example, you would go over to check it 10 or 15 minutes later and it would still be empty. Most all of the other servers that I worked with would have easily done this within 5 minutes of being asked. Another thing that we did at TGI Friday’s was to run the other servers’ food out to their

Unformatted text preview: table if they were not able to do it. Every time that a server came back to the kitchen, they would leave taking out either someones food or drinks. No one was to leave the kitchen with empty hands, one way or another. This most difficult person most of the time would just stand right outside of the kitchen and talk to the other servers and just never come into the kitchen. When they did finally come into the kitchen, they would shoot back out unnoticed. The last thing that made this person difficult to work with was when it came to the checking out duties. Every server is to sweep their section and roll silverware. This person would do a lackluster job sweeping their section and then they would complain about how many silverware they had to roll and end up not rolling enough. Working with a person this difficult just makes everyones job more difficult and frustrating....
