ETH 125 Day 2 Week 2 The word stereotype refers to a simplified and standardized image held by a group of people even if each member of the group does not display that characteristic. It is based on some kind of knowledge that is usually incorrect. Stereotyping usually is based on a specific belief. There is basically no difference between grouping people and stereotyping them.
