They said the Articles of Confederation got us through the War for Independence. The reality is that Britain stopped fighting the United States because they understood that it would be more profitable to trade rather than fight with us. Even though each team had good arguments, I think the affirmative won because of the deficiency of detail the negative team gave. The Articles of Confederation wasnt good enough for the time and wouldve destroyed the United States of America by Civil Wars. The Constitution is fail-safe and is equal to an extent....
