Nick Cannon Sheahan, S.J January 29 th 2010 Mega Marts replacing small retailers Starting a business is not a simple process. This Economy even makes it worse, but mostly one other problem is the eighty two business’s that went out of business because of Mega marts replacing them. Mega marts are replacing many local business’s which creates many problems for workers and employees, yet most customers seem to enjoy having one store to rely on having all their products. One solution that is already being used is called Big Box Devolvement which plans to build more mega stores and slowly decrease of small business ownerships. Two more solutions of which I thought could be a worthy cause. One being to build mega marts a fair distance away from one other to let small businesses grow and at the same time downsizing the mega marts. And another being to build mega marts together around small businesses, in other words, creating shopping centers/plazas. The solution of the Big Box Development is already starting a sample process to see how
