CDC.gov The website for the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention was a very useful and user-friendly website that provides some of today’s most sought out information. As soon as you log on their website, one of the first things that pop up is information regarding the proper use of antibiotics, preventing fires, the signs in recognizing concussions, information on the H1N1 virus, and different health and safety topics. I decided to look up information on the H1N1 virus. Some of the information provided were general facts, updates on new cases, and up-to-date vaccine information. The site was very clean and organized, especially with the use of tables and color-coded information boxes. There’s very little to recommend since CDC.gov does a surprisingly good job in providing the information in a concise and understandable manner. The site is well organized and gives people the option of viewing the website in another language. It shows that they really want the public to stay informed as best as possible. One
