Chris Musser Art Today 9/20/2007 Art Attack Extra Credit Art Show is a Success! Several artists came out of the promising city of Duluth on Thursday the 20 th of September. The show was a hit with several young and optimistic artists. There were many pieces of art that caught my eye, specifically one named “Boulder”. Through a lot of thinking and contemplation on this piece of abstract art, I finally saw the figure in the vase of the the “Boulder”. There were many pieces of art that I analyzed, but did not get to all them since it was only a two hour show. The selection was endless, and it ranged from surrealist to abstract and modern portraits to clay pots of ceramics. There was little rules of the show; just do whatever you can to make a piece of art whether it be bringing a plate of food, eating it as fast as you can like one guy of the name John did, to trying to be a human statue or robot as another person did. The show as a whole had a decent amount of turn out, I would estimate a couple hundred people there. A few art pieces that I was interested in were the
