The first of these that will be discussed is Seek first to understand, then to be understood. This is focused on listening to others in an attempt to fully understand them. One must ignore personal agendas or traits and focus on the other person. Project managers are in charge of many people and need to understand all of their needs. Managers must make sue they fully understand what stakeholders want before they can move along with the project. The second of Coveys habits that will be presented in Synergize .
