E on p. 189 using the new words and phrases on p. 188. Just write the answers, not the whole sentences. 3. The ʙͨ͠΄͏͕͍͍ combination is a way to give advice in Japanese. The word ΄͏ can be written with the kanji ํ and indicates an "alternative" — one alternative as opposed to another (hence the idea of "advice"). "Doing X is good (as oppopsed to the alternative of not doing it)" is the literal meaning of the combintion. Notice that the ʙͨ form of the verb is used before ํ in this combination. When giving advice not to do something, use the ʙͳ͍ form of the verb (and not the ʙͳ͔ͬͨ ) form. 4.
