Summary: The purpose of this exercise was to gain a greater understanding of the periodic table and its organization by creating our very own periodic table of alien elements. In 1869, Russian scientist, Demetri Mendeleev, was accredited with creating the first real periodic table. He formed the table to illustrate the recurring trends in the properties of many different elements. Like Mendeleev, our group organized the given, alien elements
