The aim of this experiment was to determine the effect of the reactant concentration and temperature on the rate of a chemical reaction. Materials and Equipment Ÿ 5 beakers (1 for KI, 1 for S2O3, 1 for S2O8, 1 for distilled water, and 1 for the mixture of everything- the mixture beaker was washed thoroughly between trials) Ÿ Droplet for EDTA Ÿ Starch (as well as a scoop to get the starch) Ÿ Balance Ÿ Magnetic stirrer for mixture Ÿ Clock Ÿ Thermometer (Celsius)
