A: The issues within this case study reflect legal as well as present issues. the director of Acre Woods lacks business ethics as well as values and judgment. The legal portion within this case study would be possibly losing his establishment, patients, either dead or walking away to another facility, and being sued on neglect charges. The director also lacks organizational structure, organizational loyalty, and the ethics of leadership within his role. 2. Q: How would you characterize the director’s behavior? A: I would characterize the director’s behavior as being unethical, unprofessional, and the lack of business ethics which is shown. Mark apparently does not care enough for his patients or the code of ethics in which is important to any organization especially dealing with the elderly.

Mark does not display his stewardship. The position of a steward involves making positive differences to their constituents not making things harder for them. 4. Q: Were the directors messages congruent with the organizations stated mission? Explain your answer. A: No the directors message was incongruent because none of the messages he sent were agreed on or corresponding with the needs of Acre Woods. 5. Q: What impact did the directors actions and attitudes have on the Acre Woods culture? A: A great deal of impact fell on Acre woods at this point because people were leaving and afraid of getting hurt at the pool.
