Unformatted text preview: Fredric Hertzberg was a psychologist that came up with a motivational theory called Hertzbergs Two Factor Theory. The two factors he talks about are motivation and hygiene. It essentially states that to be motivated we have to have certain needs to make us feel like we are doing a good job. When they are met we are satisfied with ourselves and our work. This in turn makes us feel like we are accomplishing what we set out to do. I am a good example of this theory. Because if I do not feel like I am doing a good job I feel like there is no reason for me to finish it or to do the job at all.
