Amanda Roberts Critical Thinking Case Study 1. What is the most major change in your life and how did it affect your life and emotions? I lost my father in 2005. I was just really getting to know him better. You see my mother and father divorced Before I was a year old. My mother remarried and my stepfather adopted me and changed my name. She never let my Father see me until I was almost grown. I felt like he just didn’t love me but I know different now. I moved to Florida in 2003 to be near my dad and to finally get to know him a little better. It was the best move I have ever made. I soon found that he did love me very much and we both had missed out on a lot during the years. He was always happy and cheerful. But more than that he was very supportive. He quickly became my best friend. For the first time in my life I had someone That believed in me. He soon pushed me to go and get my GED. And I did and passed with flying colors without taking any classes. I actually got to graduate. The saddest part of all of this is I walked with my class receiving my Diploma
