SPCALA (Society for the prevention of cruelty to animals) Every day there are about 10,000 babies born in America compared to the 70,000 puppies and kittens born in America daily. There is an increasing number of animals euthanized each year, reaching about 5 million animals in 2009. SPCALA’s primary goal is to prevent the euthanization of animals by providing them a shelter and finding responsible owners to adopt them.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
