Sport is a social institution 27/08/2009 10:00:00 Sport is a social lustitution Sport impacts values and morals, attitudes of life Soccer is the dominate sport in other countries Soccer, rugby, and cricket have world cup/championships involved with countries of England, south Africa (cricket) the tour de france- 3 weeks 2300 miles economics of- endorsements salaries economics  of sports huge business  Commercialism- individualism players have of named of companies and  endorsements promoting certain companies University sport- different levels and participation is huge in other countries sporting life surrounding recreational sports mixing and meeting other people Age- it doesn’t matter what age but your in school you can play for the university  (other countries)  While in the US you only have 4 years of eligibility
