A company mirrors the values of its founders, owners, and hired managers A corporate culture is a composite reflection of the value set of its inhabitants To promote the company’s agenda, it is essential to understand how the company’s culture relates to its employees and the outside world, and vice versa Recognition of the existing culture is important from the standpoint of its entrenchment and difficulty in effecting change When major change is necessary, it is often outsiders who effect the change, those who have not been hypnotized by the existing culture
