EXAM 2 50% short answer 50% ID’s, analysis, and Essay - Not as much as historical background as last time, more text based Essay  - Crane question (Maggie  or Open Boat)  - ** On the women stories, Chopin, Wharton, Freeman, (One of these, most  likely) o Or maybe on O’Connor (but probably not)  Historical Background - Look at handouts from class, ones online, **worksheet on  Naturalism/Realism Quote IDS—explication  - Analyze      the quotes, not just identify,  Authors - Backgrounds of authors (low on priority list) –  - *Crane died at 28 - * something about world war Maggie  is underlined, everything else is in quotes  REVIEW - Realism o Women’s stories (most of them – except O’Connor) New England Nun, Louisa, gives up her engagement, so that Lily can marry Joe, and  everybody is happy
