Unformatted text preview: Course objective : This is a basic and important course for the students major in electric. The aim and task for this course is that the students can grasp the circuit concepts correctly, grasp the basic rules and analyzing method, which provides a solid basis for further study. Topics covered: 1. Basic concepts: Lumped-parameter circuits;Variables (voltage and current) in circuit and their reference direction; Voltage source, current source and their basic waveforms (DC, Sinusoid, step, impulse, ramp); The features and VAR of resistor, capacity, inductor, dependent source and tow-port elements such as coupled coils, ideal transformer, gyrator and linear idea operator amplifier. The concepts of linear and nonlinear, time invariant and time variant; Power and energy; Circuit model; Kirchhoffs law, tellegens law and the basic concepts of network topology. 2. Analysis of linear resistive network: Calculating of simple resistive circuits (including Branch Analysis); the transformation between passive and...
