Homework and Exams Assigned on Wednesday of each week and due the following Wednesday. You are encouraged to form study groups to toss around ideas, but each student is required to submit a write-up of the solutions in his/her own words. All homework assignments will be weighted equally in computing your cumulative homework grade, and I will drop the lowest score. Homework constitutes 50% of your course grade. Only part of each assignment (about 2 problems) will be graded, and this grading will be done by the TA Zack Judson. Students are encouraged to share their solutions with the class. If you are willing, please send me a pdf copy and I will post it here. w Homework 1 . Due Wed., Sept. 5. Homework 1 Problems .
