Limiting Reactants Given: SiCl 4 + 2 Mg -----> Si + 2 MgCl 2 (MW) 169.9 24.31 28.09 Your notes had the AW of Si, 28.09 under the Mg. Mg has an atomic weight of 24.31 and that value was used in the second equation below. Thank you to anyone who points out errors – it helps everyone!!
