There will be more appreciation for feelings, values, ethics, and  cultural awareness among future learners and among future  learning professionals. 3. There will be increasing interest in the special needs of older  adult learners – those beyond traditional retirement age, who  may remain in the workforce. 4. There sill be more sensitivity to diversity among trainers and  adult educators, and diversity will be more broadly defined than  race or gender. 5. Technology will continue, unabated in its impact on learning  experiences, and more emerging technologies will surface in the  future that will affect the means by which people learn and the  means by which learning professionals will reach their learners.
