Sonya Morton Angela Moon Tuyen Truong Learning Theory Assignment Theory: Minimalist Theory John Carroll was a major contributor and developer of minimalist theory. His theory was that “learning events should minimize how much time is devoted to starting a learning event. Instead, learners should immediately be confronted with a learning challenge” (Rothwell 18). As the learners try to learn new idea or skills, they should immediately use the learning in task rather than reading a book about it. By minimize the ideas of different way to learn, one will be able to learn faster it one were given project to do on their own to understand the concepts. As for trainer, they should provide problem-solving challenges for trainers to solve on their own ways. Finally, a trainer should provide tips throughout the challenges for learner so they would be able to avoid mistakes. Results of

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
