Unformatted text preview: Macbeth Act II Homework Act II starts out at night. It is past midnight in the castle when Banquo and Fleance cannot sleep due to having bad dreams about witches. Macbeth enters because he too cannot sleep. Macbeth and Banquo talk about the truth behind the witches and Macbeth asks Banquo if he can talk in the morning. A bell is heard ringing and Macbeth knows he must go kill the king. Here he hallucinates a dagger and blood. Next scene, Lady Macbeth enters with confidence. She hears Macbeth killing Duncan. Macbeth leaves Duncans room and enters to talk with Lady Macbeth. Macbeth is feeling very regretful at this point and Lady Macbeth has to go place weapons and blood in positions. Macbeth feels that he needs all the ocean water to wash his hands clean. Next scene, a porter answers the door and lets Macduff and Lennox in, who have come to wake Duncan. Macbeth appears and greets them while Macduff goes to wake Duncan. Macduff returns and reveals Duncans death. Everyone freaks out and Lady Macbeth wake Duncan....
