The District Attorneys Office, along with schools believe that students will attend school if they are given the resources to do so. Do the claims conflict with your personal observations? I Believe students who are not attending school now, are not going because they don’t want to, not because they have no way of getting there. It’s a nice gesture to the small percentage of students who do actually need a way to get to school, but I don’t think it will change the amount of truant students in West Sacramento. The article is more of an informative article than an article with an opinion so I don’t think the author really has any expertise. I could only assume that the district attorney deals with truant kids all the time and thought the best way to help prevent truancy was to give these kids one last chance to attend school. Is the author biased and untrustworthy, or unbiased and trustworthy? I think the author is trustworthy and unbiased. He deals with these kids all the time and wants to do what’s best for them. He wants to give them every opportunity to get an education and succeed in life....
