In source one, the author is in favour of nationalism. The author would most likely be an supranationalist. It is evident that the author is an supranationalist because the author is like talking about how we all should care for others by helping by giving some of their economic rights, military power, wealth etc. To help and promote a more peaceful and superior world for everyone, knowing that we are all connected and should work together like a neighbour. The main problem the source is trying to address to us that everyone in this world has to be better and not try to fix things or cause conflicts in violence. Like in the source it says “All wars are civil wars because all men are a brother” but instead we should help one another to strive for the better just as the same way you would want someone to do for you. The author would most likely support collective identity. Collective identity is the shared sense of belonging like things they value or have so much pride on to a group. Evidence the author might use to support their point of view would be the Rwandan genocide. It was one of the bloodiest genocides that ever happened, for a long period of 100 days with 800 000 people that were killed. The result of this
