WK1_CheckPoint_Career_Opportunies 1 The three jobs in my area pertaining to the accounting field are as follows: In the Financial Accounting field there is an Internship – Audit Services position in Greensboro, NC and an Internship – Audit Services position in Winston-Salem, NC. Although they are the same title, they are for difference companies. I found the following to be true for both positions with two exceptions which I will note at the end of the duplications. 1. Qualifications: Minimum experience and education required. A. Must be currently enrolled in an Undergraduate degree program in Accounting or Finance. B. Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS). 2. Years/type experience: 1-3 years of financial, accounting and/or audit experience (classroom or practical work experience)
