Mechanics and heat are studied. Topics include vectors, kinematics, Newton’s law, static equilibrium, work and energy rotational kinematics, rotational dynamics, simple harmonic motion, heat and thermodynamics. Learning Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, a student will be able to: 1. Identify the forces that affect observed motions of nature. 2.
