LAB ASSIGNMENT: Laboratory #5 - Determination of the Charge of the Electron. To better understand the theory behind this lab read p. 724 through Eq. 21.4 and the section on Stoichiom- etry of Electrolysis on pp. 746-748. LECTURE ASSIGNMENT: On-line ALEKS assigned objective (Electrochemistry I) is due 11:59 pm Sunday, February 14. Monday, February 8 Reading Assignment: Chapter 4.5 [review of oxidation-reduction (redox) reactions, know how to assign oxidation numbers ], 21.1 [be able to balance oxidation/reduction reactions in acidic or basic solutions including disproportionation reactions (p. 450, 457)] Recommended Problems:
