You will find this document inside the folder Genre and The Searchers in the T-Square/Resources area. 3. Work in groups of five students. Discuss and write comments on the topics below. 4. You can use your textbook Film Studies Reader . 5. Write about one meaningful paragraph for each point (five lines). 6. You can work together or individually, but in the end as a group, you need to upload a document with your comment to the same folder where you found this document. 7. Don’t forget to include the names of everybody who worked with you. 8. Topics/questions: a. What is Tudor criticizing about the idea of genre as an analytical or theoretical concept and how can you apply that criticism to The Searchers ? How is that similar or different from what Steve Neale is saying? How does Neale define what a genre is and works?
