Like a sports fan after an enticing game, or a child just teetering off a rollicking rollercoaster ride, upon finishing a film audience members have the fire of their recent feat in their hearts, mind, and readily upon their tongue. Humans wish to share their experience, reflect on it with others, and it is through this desire of connection that films exercise one of their most potent societal powers.
