Abstract: Lewis dot structures, electronic geometries, and molecular geometries of a list of molecules, was determined using information from the lab manual and basic knowledge of drawing lewis structures. Background: Knowing the shape of a molecule is helpful, for example, different shapes will react differently with other chemicals. Therefore it is important to correctly draw lewis structures so VSPER models are accurate. Procedure: Refer to Experiment 9 in Utecht, R.; Downey, T; Miller, M; Hirko, R. Chem 112L-General Chemistry I Laboratory, 3 rd ed., Cache House, Inc: Eden Prairie, MN, 2009. Observations: Not applicable for this lab. Results and Sample Calculations: Not applicable for this lab.
