Unformatted text preview: EE 102 Project Spring 2008 Project is due on June 5, 2008 in class Project Description The goal of this project is to use MATLAB as a computational tool in signals and systems analysis. In particular, we will use MATLAB to verify the analytical results as well as to present results graphically. The project covers all concepts we learned in the class, from time-domain analysis (impulse and step response, convolution, cascaded systems), Laplace domain analysis ( system functions, partial fractions, cascaded systems), and Fourier domain analysis (Fourier series, system response to periodic signals, amplitude and phase spectrum, and mean square approximation). You are required to submit the project report with the following format. For each step (there are 7 steps in total), you should write 1) mathematical analysis (as you did in all your homeworks), 2) MATLAB code that computes required result and all accompanying plots, and 3) discussion if there is a mismatch between analytical and MATLAB results.there is a mismatch between analytical and MATLAB results....
