Ethically, Joya should schedule a meeting with the CEO of the company and talk to them about her concerns. Even if the CEO does nothing about the situation, it is Joya’s ethical responsibility to bring to light the fact that Bill is showing discrimination to Ichiro because of his race. It is not on Joya if her CEO doesn’t do anything about it but it is her responsibility to bring it to the attention of her CEO. 4. Although it may seem more beneficial for the company to negotiate special tariffs, ethically it is wrong. Doing this business through the Chinese officials instead of through the proper mediums of the Chinese government could lead to many severe consequences that could cost the company a lot of money or even the business itself. 6.
