Nick Fortune Health 123.04 March 26, 2006 BCP Part 3 A. The health goals I would like to focus on reaching are losing weight and improve my upper body strength. 1. I want to lose weight because I want to get back to being fit. My entire senior year, I ran everyday and played sports and was the most fit I have ever been, but since I got here, I have stopped those habits and I am not at the fitness level I would like to be. I would like to get my 1.5 mile time around the 11 minute mark. Right now it is closer to 13 and before this year I was much closer to being at 11 minutes. 2. I also want to improve my upper body strength because again, during my senior year of high school, I worked out everyday and had as much upper body strength as I ever have and my habits of working out are gone and I can tell my strength is no where near what it once was. When we did the grip test for the assessment, my max was around 55 with both hands and I plan to have that at around 63 or 64 at the end of this project. New: My revised health goal is generally the same as before but now I am not as focused on improving my upper body strength as I am losing weight. I plan on still achieving my goal of running a mile and half in close to 11 minutes which will be an improvement of where it was at around 13 minutes. My upper body strength is not as
