Nick Fortune Comp. I September 26, 2005 You’re Blitzed Son I have never run so far, so fast in my entire life. As soon as everyone saw the flashlights coming down that hill at Sealey’s house, we took off running through the dark, dense, woods. As we got farther and farther away, the group I was running with dwindled from about 12, to only three as others were getting picked up along the way. Finally, Emily’s car pulled up, a savior from nowhere or at least we thought until I saw those blue lights flashing in the back window and a police officer saying, “License and registration.” Almost instantly I felt my stomach sink. This entire night of fun and drinking was about to come to an abrupt end with the worst outcome I could imagine. As everyone seemed to quickly sober up, the police officer said, “Alright, everyone get out of the vehicle and line up.” Everyone slowly climbed out of the car and I waited for someone to come around and open the trunk so I could get out.
