(A net equation only has those species that are transferring the hydrogen ion.) Pay close attention to the instructions on how to enter your responses. You will also determine if these reactions are extensive. In this and the following questions, you will write net equations for the acid-base reactions that occur when aqueous solutions are mixed. You will be asked in a subsequent question whether these reactions are extensive. Instructions You are urged to write the reaction on paper before transcribing it into WebAssign. 1. Write reactants and products in the following order: Acid(#1)(aq) + Base(#2)(aq) = Base(#1)(aq) + Acid(#2)(aq) , where Acid(#1) and Base(#1) are one conjugate pair, and Base(#2) and Acid(#2) are the other conjugate pair. On the reactant side, make sure you list the acid first!
