Chapter 8: Financial Planning Case 1. What benefits and drawbacks are associated with online shopping? Some benefits of online shopping is that it saves consumers time to go shopping. With the internet available you can find any product online that you would find in a retail store. Also, you can have a product shipped rather than go pick up a product for your convenience. Sometimes some products that you find in retail stores are more expensive than shopping websites. A drawback of online shopping as Aime Carvar experienced having to wait few weeks for your product to arrive depending on availability of that specific product. Another, drawback of online shopping is that a product you order appear to be different when arriving than you previously saw on the website. Re- stocking fees, shipping costs to return a product, or no exchange return policies are among drawbacks of online shopping.
