Assignment Memorandum Format : TO: Dr. Carl Ekstrom FROM: Shelby Kennard Exercise #4 1. At this point it’s obvious that this city government is full with corruption. There’s a good chance that if you contact an internal agency that deals with these internal issues, it may be corrupt as well. If he speaks out directly against his boss, he most likely will be fired and possibly ruin his career. So, I think he has the following choices. A. Contact the government agency that deals with internal affairs. B. Have a off the record conversation with a council member that is opposed to the development. Possibly even drop him an anonymous memo, telling him the situation. Let the council member bring it up in council meetings. C. Anonymous tips to the local newspaper letting them know that a curious thing is happening. The TriState project is a possible go, and hey isn’t it curious that Anne Fogarty, one of the people who did the flow projections on the project is leaving her job with DOT, and going to work for TriState. With this bit of info, the reporter can hopefully follow the crumbs to
