ME360 homework assignment, Spring 2010 HW3, Feb. 5, due Feb. 12 Reading Text 1: Ch. 4, Ch. 11, sec. 11.0-11.7.1. Text 2: Ch. 3.3. Also strongly recommended: Text 3: Ch. 7, pp. 225, 234-257, 329-336, Ch. 5, and Text 4: Ch. 1, and pp. 421-428, 455- 466 of The Art of Electronics. Problems (you must show detailed derivations) 1a. Loading of a circuit: connect the output leads of circuit 2 to the input leads of circuit 3 and derive the transfer function of the resulting circuit (call it circuit A). Now insert a buffer between the output leads of circuit 2 and the input leads of circuit 3 and derive the transfer function of this new circuit (call it circuit B). Determine now whether or not the transfer function of circuit A is the product of the transfer functions of circuits 2 and 3. Repeat the last task for circuit B. Comment on the difference, if any, in the properties of circuits A and B with respect to circuits 2 and 3. 1b. Loading of a circuit, commutativity: connect now the output leads of circuit 3 to the
