3:35 pm Adjournment FCC Participant Bio: Donald K. Stockdale, Jr., Deputy Chief and Bureau Chief Economist, Wireline  Competition Bureau (WCB), Federal Communications Commission.   Donald  Stockdale supervised WCB’s pricing policy proceedings (including the FCC’s 2008 effort  to reform of intercarrier compensation), the review of all wireline mergers, and other  policy proceedings raising competition issues.  He has also advised on various FCC  broadband policy initiatives.  In addition, Mr. Stockdale frequently advises regulators  from other countries on local competition, interconnection and pricing issues.  Prior to joining the FCC, Mr. Stockdale taught business and public policy at the  University of Maryland Business School.  Before that he was a litigation associate at the  European antitrust law.  Mr. Stockdale has a B.A., J.D. and Ph.D. in Economics, all from  Yale University, and a M.A. in economics from Kings College, Cambridge. Jon Peha, Chief Technologist, FCC .  Dr. Peha works on issues that span all FCC  bureaus. He is also a Full Professor at Carnegie Mellon University in the Department of  In addition, he has served as Associate Director of the university's Center for Wireless  and Broadband Networking.  He was Chief Technical Officer of three high-tech start-ups  Microsoft. He also addressed telecom and e-commerce issues while on legislative staff  While at USAID, he helped launch and lead a U.S. Government interagency program to
