Unformatted text preview: My initial thoughts on distance learning where just what they are...being able to further my own education from the comfort of my home. I don't typically do well in a classroom setting as I tend to take a lot of the teacher's time when it comes to something I don't understand...this results from a comprehension disability and I don't think it's fair to the other students who also need help. My view on distance learning hasn't really changed too much...I wasn't expecting to be in a class of 20+ students, I expected maybe 10 per class. I didn't think there would be a forum either..I really like this because it makes it easier to communicate with my instructor and classmates. The only issues I have with distance learning is getting accustomed to not being able to ask a question about something I don't understand and immediately get an answer.
