The two band members parted their ways, and by 2000, John Mayer had made quite a name for himself. His latest album, Continuum , was released in September of 2006. The track Vultures from this album is one of my favorite songs. It emphasizes the fusion of blues and pop, and that theme is carried throughout the CD. John Mayer frequently uses the Burns 2 guitar and voice as his primary instruments. However, his songs are usually complemented with a keyboard, drums, or other source of percussion. I consider Vultures to be one of my favorite songs (although, I enjoy all of John Mayers music) because of its unique style, as well as his meaningful lyrics that portray perseverance....
