Solution or Explanation
Because the spaceship is far from all other objects, its interactions are minimal. According to
Newton's first law of motion, "An object moves in a straight line and at constant speed except
to the extent that it interacts with other objects." Since there are negligible interactions, the
spaceship will move in a straight line, and its speed will not change.
