Final projects generally fall into two categories: a 10-15 page detailed literature review on a topic, or a software project implementing one or more algorithms discussed in class or presented in a recent paper. Software projects can be done in small groups (2 students). Proposals should clearly state a topic, who is doing the work, what is to be implemented (if software), and provide a short reading list.
