Analysis of Groundwater Flow Based on a Head Map A small community pumps groundwater from a stream connected sand/gravel aquifer for their drinking water supply. A recent monitoring study, however, shows that the aquifer is contaminated by a Landfill. Although the well water is currently not contaminated, the citizens are extremely concerned, since groundwater is their exclusive source of water supply. The fact that groundwater is invisible makes them particularly anxious and they have been asking many questions: 1. Can the community still use the groundwater? 2. Where does the water the community pumps come from? 3. How much water does the community get from the nearby stream and
