There are quite a few examples of input and output devices. In the following paragraphs I will be giving examples of these devices. I will also go over the typical use for each device. The five input devices I chose to write about are the computer mouse, keyboard, trackball, webcam, and microphone. The mouse is a pointing device that is used for sending commands and positioning the cursor. The keyboards typical use is to enter data and commands into the computer. The output devices are the monitor, speaker, and printer. The monitor serves as a one way window between the computer user and the machine. The speaker converts the analog signal into sound you can hear. The printer produces a hard copy on paper of any static information displayed on the computer screen.
