Andre Mallqui Chapter 10 Experiment 1 Questions:  What You Expect Is What You  Get SEPARATE PIECE OF PAPER 1.  Who is the main researcher involved in the research described in the article? The main researcher involved in this article is Robert Rosenthal 2.  Describe the case of Clever Hans and how it relates to expectations/bias. Clever Hans was a horse who appeared to be capable of reading, spelling, and solving math  problems.  However Clever Hans managed to read the slightest unintentional cues from the  questioners allowing him to correctly choose the right answers.  These cues included subtle  movements of the eyes or head. 3.  Describe Rosenthal’s experiment and results testing lab rats and their maze running  abilities. Rosenthal conducted a test in which half a class of psychology students were told to perform tests  up “dull”, slow rats, the other half were given “bright”, fast rats.  When collecting data the students  who were given the supposedly bright rats had faster results then those given the dull rats.  However
