Econ 101.400 Winter 2010 General Information Instructor: Chad Hogan Office: Lorch M109 Email: chadh@umich.edu Office phone: (734) 936 2745 Cell phone: (734) 358 1590 Office Hours: 11:00 am – 2:00 pm An early, up front confession: I am the worst email correspondent in the world. You are more than welcome to email me at any time, but it is quite possible that you’ll be waiting for ages for a response. Honestly, I am trying to do better, but I find it a very inefficient form of communication and have little patience for it. If you have an important question, you are much better off trying to talk to me face to face (immediately before or immediately after class, or during office hours), or by phone (use my office number during office hours and my cell phone at other times). For general administrative issues, you are also encouraged to contact the head GSI for the course, Dave Knapp via email (dmknapp@umich.edu). Textbook and Resources The most important resource for the course is the assigned text. Hubbard, R. Glenn & O’Brien, A.P.,
