Homework #2 (Due Thursday February 5) 1. Perform the following in MATLAB. Print out the results and box/highlight your results (40%) a. Create a vector, b, that starts at 20, ends at 0, and decreases by 2 b. Create a vector, a, that starts at 1, ends at 10 12 , increases logarithmically, and has 6 elements c. Create the following matrix, A 5 3 2 7 3 7 1 6 2 1 2 4 3 2 2 1 A - = - - - d. Create a 4x4 matrix, B, of random numbers ranging from -6 to 3 e. Using a single command (not by directly typing in sixteen threes), create a 4x4 matrix F that is filled with the values of 3.0 f. Calculate C which is true matrix multiplication of A times B g. Calculate D which is element by element division of A divided by B h. Using colon notation, make the 2 nd column of D equal to 1 2 3 4 i. Change the second row and second column of D to the 1 st row and third column of B using subscript notation j. Make the matrix D a new matrix E that has 2 rows and 8 columns (attention: not 8 rows and 2 columns) k.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
