Guide 2 Throughout my time here at Axia College of University of Phoenix, in the class Gen/105 Skills for Learning in an Info Age I have learned much different recourse to help me throughout the rest of my classes. To stay on top of my classes and improve, I will need to use Axia College’s education resources, uphold academic honesty, set and achieve my goals, manage my time wisely, foster reading comprehension and retention, and be able to apply personality and learning styles. Learning and using these skills will help to improve my learning experience throughout my time here. University of Phoenix offers many tools concerning educational resources. We start with going to the university library in which is found many different key resources. Here they will find the Center for Writing Excellences, student labs, Center for Mathematics Excellence, and able to find academic articles reviewed by peers. The Center for Writing Excellences allows me to submit papers for WritePoint, and Plagiarism checker. WritePoint is an automated system that provides feedback on basic grammar. The Plagiarism checker looks over the papers and checks to make sure originality in their work. Tutorials and Guides are there to help improve grammar and writing skills. Thesis statement and reference citation generators will help me start on my thesis and help avoid plagiarism. The student labs are here to help me to understand and improve from accounting to student writing. The Center for Mathematics Excellence is here when I need to review my mathematics and statistics skills. This ranges from brushing up to
